【InterMedical】is for people who are traveling outside the US. The premium is low and calculated per day. (Please see 「Premium」 for more details).2. Is there any service charge for applying for 【InterMedical】?
Yes, there is a $5 service charge for the purchase.3. May I purchase 【InterMedical】if I am already on my trip?
Yes. Coverage can begin as early as the next day after enrollment. Minimum stay is 5 days,and maximum is 364 days.4. Can I purchase 【InterMedical】by phone?

No, but once the application is successfully submitted, your policy will be effective as early as the next day.7. Can I renew my policy if my trip lasts longer than originally planned?
No, but you can re-apply for another policy. Be sure to re-apply before the last day of your existing policy, and set the effective date of your new policy on the day after your existing policy ends.8. If I cancel my trip, can I cancel my insurance and receive a refund?
Yes. A cancellation and refund will be considered if requested in writing prior to your effective date of coverage. Refunds are subject to a $25 processing fee. You can contact us via e-mail, WeChat or phone. We will assist you immediately.9. What does “beneficiary” mean?
Beneficiary is the person who receives the death benefit if the insured dies in an accident. The insured decides who the beneficiary is. Your beneficiary can be your spouse, children, estate, or living trust.10. Can I choose any doctor or hospital?
Yes. You can choose any qualified doctor or hospital.11. What is “deductible”?
Deductible is the amount that you, the Insured person, pay before the insurance begins to pay for covered medical expenses. 【InterMedical】 offers a choice of 4 deductibles: $0、$250、$500 and $1,000. When your medical expenses are over the deductible, insurance company would cover remaining amount.12. Would the insurance company cover all the medical expenses once the deductible is met?
Yes. The insurance company will fully cover the expenses once the deductible is met. Note: Maximum benefit limit for Plan A is $25,000 and Plan B is $100,000.13. Does 【InterMedical】 cover pre-existing conditions?
No. Pre-existing conditions is any condition or disease (whether known or unknown) that exists 6 months prior to the effective date of your policy. Only 【Voyager Choice】can cover pre-existing conditions.(Please see 「Voyager Choice Plan's Benefit」 for more details).14.Any age limit for purchasing 【InterMedical】?
Yes, children born after 14 days can purchase. There is no upper age limit for Plan A, but for Plan B, the age limit is 69.15. What methods of payment are accepted?
Any major credit cards(Visa、Master、Discover、American Express)or check.16.What's the difference between 【InterMedical】 and 【WorldMed Outbound】?
【InterMedical】is suitable for short-term travel outside the US and 【WorldMed Outbound】for long-term. Also, the 【WorldMed Outbound】 maximum benefit is higher than 【InterMedical】 and the premium is more expensive.
